A great team of Canadian drug-free fitness athletes are increasingly starting to make their mark on the international fitness scene. Founded in 2012 by the 2x Musclemania Pro World Champion and head coach Dickens Lambert, this Canadian fitness team was created to assemble all competing drug-free fitness athletes throughout the country wishing to compete at International fitness events with other Canadian fitness & health enthusiasts. As a united team, these Canadian athletes get to travel to different international destinations (Miami, France, Las Vegas & Singapore) and share their passion with their teammates as well as make new fitness friends from around the globe.

At the Fitness America & World Championships Weekend held this last November 2014, the Canadian team members included: Curt Griffin, Samuel Dixon & Yannick Martin (Musclemania Pro) Maia Meier (Bikini), Fred Chevry & Samuel Plouffe (Men’s Physique Pro) & Marie-Chantale Di Guardo (Figure) & Nathalie Piché (Figure Pro), Sylvie Calixte as assistant coach & Marc-Andre Donato as the official team videographer & photographer. We are happy to announce that two Canadians made their country proud. Curt Griffin placed 2nd in the heavyweight pros. He lost to his teammate, Samuel Dixon who placed first in the heavyweight division as well as winning the overall title. The new World Musclemania Pro Champion is CANADIAN!

This Summer, The Fitness Canada team competed at the Musclemania Fitness Universe weekend in Miami. One month prior to this World Class event, Dickens recruited the best drug-free fitness athletes at the Fitness Canada show on June 13th 2015. Selected athletes were to be a part of the newly formed Canadian Fitness team and represent their country a few days later.
